“The sun’s rays bounced off the red tiles of the roof, reflecting off the waxlike green leaves of the Linden trees, showering the piano below in a waterfall of light. I placed my hands on the piano and immersed myself in this cascade of light which for a short few minutes transformed itself into a series of musical phrases and rests before returning to its wild and uncontrolled original form.”

This is Lukasz’s first memory of playing the piano, and this is how he hopes his audience will experience his performance; a short, moment in time when light and silence intertwine, painting a picture that touches the soul.
